New website purchases are being prepared for Stripe Managed Payments, sold through Link. Alexander Lentz, operating as Aurel Audio, remains the seller and software licensor. Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe affiliate, acts as merchant of record and handles the payment and covered transaction taxes. Aurel supplies the download, activation and product support. Payment terms are identified at checkout and on your receipt. Earlier orders retain the seller and terms recorded at purchase.

Link sends payment receipts, tax invoices and refund confirmations. You can manage a Link purchase at app.link.com or contact Link payment support. Aurel separately emails your license, download and the acknowledged software terms.

Your purchase

A one-time EQ-30 purchase covers one named person on up to three computers. All EQ-30 updates, including future major versions, are included at no additional license charge. No particular release schedule is promised.

Requirements and delivery

Windows 10 or later, 64-bit, with a VST3-compatible DAW. No standalone app, VST2, AAX, or macOS version is included. Initial activation needs an internet connection. Automatic checks renew up to 30 days of offline use; a successful online recheck is required after that period. A license key and protected download are supplied after payment confirmation.

Price and tax

The sandbox price is US$29.99 including applicable tax. The checkout shows the final total and applicable tax before payment. Link may offer local-currency pricing; review the currency and final amount there. Sandbox payments do not charge real money.

Cancellation, refunds and faulty content

Direct purchases have a full refund window of 14 calendar days after purchase, including after download or activation. Requesting immediate delivery does not waive this refund policy or statutory withdrawal rights. Refunds go to the original payment method. For purchases sold through Link, Link’s applicable refund policy also applies and may provide additional rights. Aurel’s 14-day promise does not restrict that policy or mandatory rights. A completed refund ends the license and its computer registrations.

To withdraw, use the online withdrawal function, or send an unequivocal statement to support@aurel-audio.com identifying your purchase. Aurel records requests received here and coordinates payment handling through Stripe. For Link purchases you can also send the request to Link payment support, the payment support service shown on your receipt. You may use the model form below, but it is optional. Where the statutory withdrawal right applies, reimbursement is due without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive notice.

The refund window does not limit mandatory remedies for faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming digital content, or necessary updates. Applicable EU digital-content rules provide remedies beyond the voluntary refund period; these can include correction, price reduction or ending the contract. Contact support to report a problem.

Aurel EQ-30 End-User License Agreement

DRAFT FOR OWNER AND LEGAL REVIEW — not yet approved for customer release

Agreement version: 0.3-draft. Updated October 17, 2026.

Licensor: Alexander Lentz, operating under the Aurel Audio brand, Orlando, Florida, United States ("Aurel," "we," "us").

Business address: 12602 Crest Springs Ln., Apt 1321, Orlando, FL 32828, United States.

Support and notices: support@aurel-audio.com. Website: https://aurel-audio.com.

This agreement applies to Aurel EQ-30, proprietary, activation-enabled software, and its accompanying documentation (the "Software"). It is between Aurel and the individual named on the license ("you").

The release version of this agreement must be available before purchase and installation. If you do not agree to that version, do not install or use the Software; contact the seller about any applicable cancellation or refund rights. This draft is provided for review and installer testing, not as a final customer contract.

1. Your license

After a valid purchase from Aurel or an authorized retailer and subject to this agreement, Aurel grants you a non-exclusive license to install and use the Software for your own personal and commercial audio work. One purchased license covers one named individual on up to three registered computers. The three registrations are for your use; they are not three separate user seats. You may run multiple plugin instances in your projects on those computers.

The Software is licensed, not sold. You may keep reasonable backup copies for your own use. Sharing an installer does not give another person permission to use your license. A studio or organization must obtain a separate license for each person who uses the Software unless Aurel expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

2. One-time purchase and free updates

A paid license requires a one-time payment, not a recurring subscription. The license has no scheduled expiration, subject to activation requirements and the termination provisions below.

All Aurel EQ-30 updates released by Aurel are included at no additional license charge for existing paid license holders, including future major-version updates. Other Aurel products are not included. We do not promise a particular update schedule or require you to buy another product to retain the license described here. Updates may require a compatible operating system and audio host.

3. Activation, registered computers, and offline use

Initial activation requires an internet connection and a valid license key. You can register up to three computers and manage their registrations through your Aurel account. Deactivate a computer you no longer use before registering a replacement. Reinstalling Windows or making substantial system changes may require registration again; contact support if you cannot recover a registration slot.

The Software checks the license automatically when it opens or its editor reopens. Each successful verification authorizes up to 30 days of offline use. A temporary connection failure does not interrupt use while a valid offline authorization remains. After that authorization expires, the Software must successfully reconnect and verify the license before licensed processing can continue. It is not designed for permanently offline use.

A revoked or deactivated registration, a refunded license, an invalid authorization, or a failed verification that establishes the license is no longer valid can make licensed processing unavailable. Removing a registration from the account may not affect a computer that remains offline until its current authorization expires. Keep a working internet connection available when you need to renew authorization, and retain backups and rendered audio for important projects.

If Aurel permanently discontinues its activation service, Aurel will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable and a reasonable way for existing paid license holders to continue using their licensed version without periodic online checks. This continuity commitment does not require development of a new operating-system or plugin-format port and does not limit remedies required by law.

4. Your music, recordings, and presets

You retain your rights in the music, recordings, audio, projects, and original presets you create. You may release, sell, perform, and otherwise distribute audio made with the Software without paying royalties to Aurel. Collaborators receiving rendered audio do not need an EQ-30 license merely to use that audio. They need their own license if they use the Software itself.

This agreement does not grant rights to third-party recordings or other material you use with the Software. You remain responsible for obtaining those rights.

5. License sharing, transfers, and prohibited use

Except where applicable law or a third-party component license permits otherwise, you must not:

A license ownership transfer requires Aurel's prior written approval unless applicable law gives you a transfer right that cannot be restricted. Contact support before arranging a transfer. Deactivating a computer frees a device registration; it does not transfer license ownership. This section does not restrict rights granted by an applicable open-source component license or non-waivable rights concerning interoperability, repair, or lawful security research.

6. Purchases, refunds, and retailers

For a paid purchase made directly at aurel-audio.com, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days after purchase by emailing support@aurel-audio.com with enough information to identify the order. Activation or ordinary use during that period does not by itself remove this voluntary refund right. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; bank and payment-provider processing times may vary.

A completed refund ends the associated Software license and its device registrations. Stop using that license and remove its copies from your computers. You retain your rights in audio and original presets you already created.

For purchases from an authorized retailer, request a refund from that seller under its purchase terms and applicable law. This agreement governs your use of the Software but does not claim that a particular retailer currently offers it. A retailer cannot bind Aurel to different Software license terms without Aurel's written authorization.

Nothing in this agreement removes mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, repair, replacement, price-reduction, or other consumer rights. Those rights may extend beyond the voluntary 14-day period. Accepting this agreement during installation does not itself waive a statutory digital-content withdrawal right.

7. Compatibility, updates, and support

Check the published operating-system, architecture, plugin-format, and audio-host requirements before purchase. A license does not promise support for every host, future operating system, or plugin format. AAX, VST2, macOS, and other formats are included only if Aurel actually releases them as EQ-30 updates; their availability is not promised here.

Contact support@aurel-audio.com for activation, installation, refund, and technical questions. No particular response time or uninterrupted support availability is promised. Aurel will provide updates and remedies required by applicable law. Your license does not expire simply because you choose not to install an optional update, although continued compatibility or security may require an update.

8. Activation information and privacy

Activation and verification use your license information, a product-specific device identifier, a computer label, and technical request information such as an IP address. Your registered name may be displayed in the plugin. The Software stores an authorization locally so it can operate during the allowed offline period. Audio content and DAW project contents are not transmitted as part of the licensing check.

Further information about purchase records, accounts, support, retention, service providers, and privacy rights is provided in Aurel's separate privacy notice. This agreement does not authorize unrelated marketing, access to your microphone or files, or reuse of your creative work.

9. Ownership and third-party components

Aurel and its licensors retain ownership of the Software and documentation. Rights not expressly granted are reserved. The Software includes third-party components identified in its ThirdPartyNotices folder. Those components remain subject to their own applicable licenses and notices. Where those licenses grant rights beyond or different from this agreement, those rights apply to the relevant components.

A proprietary EQ-30 license does not transfer ownership of JUCE or other third-party frameworks to you.

10. Preview and sandbox editions

An edition clearly labeled Sandbox, Preview, Test, or Evaluation is supplied for testing under the entitlement provided with it. A test checkout does not constitute a paid purchase or grant a paid-production license. Test authorizations may expire or be revoked as testing changes. Paid-license duration and update entitlements do not arise solely from access to a free test edition. Keep backups and use caution with irreplaceable work in preview builds.

11. Warranty and liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE AND THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT ADDITIONAL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AUREL DOES NOT GUARANTEE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION, COMPATIBILITY WITH EVERY SYSTEM, OR THAT FILES CANNOT BE TAMPERED WITH.

TO THAT SAME EXTENT, AUREL IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, OR LOSS OF DATA. AUREL'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SOFTWARE OR THIS AGREEMENT IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE AFFECTED EQ-30 LICENSE AND US$50.

These limits do not exclude or restrict liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability, warranty, or consumer remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. If a limitation is not permitted where you live, it applies only to the extent the law permits. An express promise in this agreement or a mandatory legal remedy is not erased by the general disclaimer above.

12. Termination, changes, and governing law

You may end this agreement by stopping use and removing the proprietary Software and its authorizations. Aurel may terminate a license for a material breach after written notice and a reasonable opportunity of at least 14 days to fix it, unless the breach cannot reasonably be fixed, involves fraud or deliberate unauthorized distribution or activation bypass, or immediate action is required by law. A completed refund ends the refunded license as described above. A good-faith consumer complaint or exercise of a legal remedy is not itself a breach.

On termination, stop using the affected proprietary Software and remove its copies and authorizations, except to the extent applicable law or a separate component license permits retention or use. Your rights in previously created audio and original presets remain yours. Ownership, third-party license rights, applicable payment obligations, lawful liability limits, and provisions intended to survive termination continue to apply.

Aurel will not apply changed terms retroactively to remove the paid license or free-update entitlement granted by this agreement. Material new terms for a future release must be presented for acceptance; legally required changes and third-party terms apply as the law permits. A change on a webpage alone does not establish your acceptance of a new contract.

Florida law and applicable United States federal law govern this agreement, except that mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights available where you habitually reside remain unaffected. This agreement does not impose mandatory arbitration or select an exclusive court that overrides those rights.

If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent lawful. This agreement, the applicable order information, and separately applicable third-party notices contain the Software license terms; they do not replace mandatory law or Aurel's express purchase commitments. Questions and notices may be sent to support@aurel-audio.com.
